Israel In Transit

Artist’s Statement:
During my last couple of visits to Israel, in 2018 and 2019, I became increasingly aware of the country’s transportation system. Not just because it’s so much better than what I experience here in central New Jersey, but because the areas in and around bus stops, light rail and other modes of transportation are great locations for street photography. While waiting for a bus or train one will see people from all walks of life: Orthodox, Secular, Moslem, Christians, American kids spending their gap year, all squished together and forced to interact or actively ignore each other. These photos should give you a flavor of life at the next stop.

All of these are available as prints for sale. Please email me for details!
