For several years now, I’ve walked the main drag of Highland Park, NJ during its “Arts in the Park” festival. A few years ago I started to volunteer, first as a judge of the art on display, then to help vendors find and set up their booths. Finally, this year, I completed the circle, and was, myself, a vendor. I shared booth space with Lisabeth Klein, who was selling her home-made dog treats (human grade and Kosher!). She had extra room, and loved the idea of having a mini photo studio, so people who brought their dogs to the fair (and there are always dozens who do) could get their pooches fed and photographed.
I had a blast. Here are my favorite shots of nearly every dog who visited. (If one of these is your dog, look for an email from me telling you how you can order prints.)
Here come the dawgs!
