Highlights from the Porch Portrait Project

UPDATED SEPT. 21, 2020:

When Covid-19 hit and everyone was isolated, I offered free “porch portraits” to families in Highland Park. I didn’t make any money doing it, but had the satisfaction of bringing a few moments of joy to families who were going through a tough time.

With home schooling still a thing and people continuing to feel a little stressed and stir-crazy, it offers you a welcome break–and gives you and your family a momento of how you were back when the pandemic hit.

You and your family can plan together: Wear the same color clothes? Dress in scrubs? Pose with your teddy bears? Want to dress in your Star Trek or Hogwarts uniforms? Got another idea for clothing or props that reflects your family’s interests? Cool! Let’s talk and plan to make it a great experience.

Shown here are examples from that project. Dozens of families took me up on the offer, and many said it was a highlight of their day.
